Policy & Cancellations

KAYLAS COOKIES LLC POLICY FORM DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: A 50% nonrefundable retainer/deposit fee is due at time of booking. This is in place to hold your spot on our schedule, cover our time researching and to purchase ingredients. Full payment is due 1 week prior to the pickup date for your order. If the total is not paid in full by the deadline, your order will be withheld until payment is received. 

*ORDER PICKUP & CANCELLATIONS: Pickup date and times will be agreed upon prior to day of pickup and are fixed. Being late and/or not showing up to pickup your order will result in the pickup date being moved to the following business day at a time that is best convenient for the baker. Completed orders will only be held for 48 hours, after this time has passed your order will be donated/disposed of with no option for refund/credit. Cancellations made 48 hours or less from due date are not subject to any store credits or refunds as your order has been physically been started by this time.  

*CARE & HANDLING: We are not responsible for damage to baked goods after pickup unless by the fault of our own negligence. At time of pick up/delivery order care information will be shared with you verbally and given to you in the form of an information card. DESIGN VARIATIONS: We will make every attempt to replicate design inspiration and color samples that are provided by the client but cannot guarantee an exact copy. A design sample will be sent prior to production which will include a rough mockup of the final design. The final product may be subject to slight variations as we will never claim to be able to reproduce someone else's work 100%. Be aware that light can cause colors to look different. We do not offer discounts or refunds if the exact shade of color is not achieved or if a variation occurs due to slight color differences under natural, fluorescent, low light, etc.

* MARKETING: We respect the privacy of all of our customers. We will not disclose the identity of clients without permission. We do however reserve the right to all photos & videos of baked goods to use on our social media platforms and for other marketing materials.  

*ALLERGY DISCLAIMER: It is the responsibility of the customer to notify us if someone in your party has a food allergy. We can bake items to accommodate allergies however being a home bakery we CANNOT guarantee cross contamination will not occur. We utilize a kitchen that houses many types of ingredients including but not limited to 6 of the major allergens; dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy.
